Naidex 2020 Postponed until later in the year!
Naidex Postponed until later in the year!
Organisers, ROAR Media confirmed today the show will be postponed to later in the year, telling AMP that it had a duty of care to exhibitors and attendees to make the decision.
An official statement from ROAR Media explained: “While this is not a decision that has been taken lightly, we feel that it is the right one – not just for the care and health sector but for the wider community as a whole.”
In line with this directive, we at Strident would like to announce that as a company we are taking precautionary measures in line with health authorities and will be promoting online meetings with our customers, which will enable us to give the same level of care, whilst maintaining the face-2-face experience and of course reduce our carbon footprint.

How do I claim the money back from Strident?
Whether the enquiry comes to you or you promote it to your customer, the processes is the same.
So, if you replace from Strident stock you currently hold then record the two serial numbers, the product code together with the user name and send to Strident with the voucher number to sales@strident.uk.com where we will authorise the claim and raise a credit to your account for the same amount.
Alternatively, should you need to purchase stock from Strident, please quote the unique voucher reference number and the user name when placing the order and the amount will be deducted off the invoice to you

National Battery Day 2019 - Celebrating the Unsung Hero
When Alessandro Volta invented the first ever battery all the way back in 1800, I’m sure he had no idea that in 2019, more and more products would start to become battery-powered, as opposed to using fossil fuel.
One thing’s for sure: he definitely didn’t know that on February 18th every year, we would be celebrating National Battery Day.
Although we are all most likely carrying around numerous battery-powered devices with us such as phones, watches, laptops, and tablets, we never seem to think about what the world might be like if batteries didn’t exist. As such, we’re calling the battery ‘the unsung hero’ on this year's national battery day.
Batteries play a significant role in the mobility and healthcare sectors, allowing disabled, injured, or elderly people to have the freedom of movement that any able-bodied person would have. The battery that sits within their mobility scooter power chair or other device makes this free movement possible.
How can you celebrate National Battery Day?
National Battery Day is the perfect opportunity to check that your batteries are in working order.
If you are the user of mobility equipment, make contact with your retailer and ask them to check your batteries health to ensure peak performance and longevity. If you are a mobility shop, check out the Strident tester to ensure you give your clients consistently reliable test results.
